Mary Jane (Kent) Klaeffling, 84, of Greenfield, passed away on Oct. 26, 2008 at Hancock Memorial Hospital in Greenfield. She was born on Nov. 16, 1923, in Elnora, the daughter of Clyde and Ella (Benham) Kent. She graduated from the Jordan Conservatory of Music at Butler University and went on to teach music at Indianapolis public schools. She later worked at Meridian Mutual Insurance Company and at Hancock Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Bradley United Methodist Church in Greenfield.
