NEWLY UPDATED: MISTRIAL DECLARED IN LEHMAN CASE

The two-day trial of W. Jeffrey Lehman of Linton ended with a hung jury late Thursday afternoon. Special Judge P.J. Pierson declared a mistrial after the jury said they could not reach a unanimous verdict. The six-person jury of five women and one man went into deliberations around 11 a.m. They took a short lunch break when a pizza was delivered to the jury room.
