Worthington man, woman face charges

A Worthington man and woman were both arrested after Greene County Sheriff's Deputy J. Aaron Smith was dispatched to a domestic disturbance on South Meridian St. in Worthington on Saturday. Terry L. Garrett, 48, was booked into the Greene County Jail on a preliminary charge of battery with bodily injury and was released on Sunday after posting $1,000 bond. Lyons man arrested after wrecking Hummer

Monty A. Heath, 38, of Lyons was arrested early Wednesday after he fell asleep at the wheel and wrecked a Hummer. Greene County Sheriff's Lt. Bryan Woodall responded to the scene of the accident around 5:44 a.m. in Grant Township. According to an accident report, Heath failed field sobriety tests and also failed a certified breath test -- he registered .15 BAC (blood-alcohol content)...

Tip leads to arrest

An anonymous tip led to the arrest of Scott P. Sozzi, 21, Linton, in the parking lot of the Fast Point convenience store Tuesday night. Sozzi was wanted on a warrant out of Greene County issued as a result of a petition to revoke.
