DUGGER -- A Union School student was apprehended by Sullivan County Sheriff's Department deputies shortly before 1 p.m. following an earlier incident at the school where he allegedly battered two students and high school principal Chuck Roach and then fled the school grounds. The juvenile student, who has not been identified by authorities, was apprehended on Cass Road -- a short distance from the school by SCSD Carl Melchert and Billy Sneed, according to dispatcher Rachel Shew.
