Four area fire departments responded to a blaze Tuesday afternoon in an outbuilding along State Road 54 -- west of Bloomfield in Fairplay Township. The fire was reported about 1:40 p.m. on property owned by Sam Lehman, of Bloomfield.

Hildegard Lawless, 73, of Bloomfield passed away at 12:50 a.m. on March 25, 2009 at Greene County General Hospital in Linton. Born March 7, 1936 in Bad Kreuznach, Germany she was the daughter of Karl and Germania (Fletcher) Weber. Hildegard worked at the Bloomfield Nursing Home as a dietitian and an aide...
