Jasonville man being held for alleged involvement in Clay County auto thefts

Although details are limited due to the ongoing investigation, officials at the Clay County Sheriff's Department confirmed Thursday one suspect is in custody and more are being sought for their alleged involvement in recent vehicle thefts. Clay County Sheriff Mike Heaton said Justin Axsom, 22, Jasonville, is currently being held at the Clay County Justice Center on a $7,000 cash bond (with no 10 percent allowed) while investigators continue to look for other persons of interest who possibly have information regarding at least two stolen vehicles from Clay County.. ...
