Tanya (Salesman) (Finley) McIntyre was on probation for the crime of false informing during the investigation of a bank robbery when she was charged with false informing during the investigation of a shooting death. McIntyre was arraigned in Greene Circuit Court early Monday on four counts: Obstruction of justice, a class D felony; assisting a criminal, a class D felony; and two counts of false informing, a class A misdemeanor. A petition has also been filed to revoke her probation/suspended sentence on the previous conviction. In explaining the possible sentences McIntyre might face if convicted of some or all of the counts against her, Judge Erik Allen made it very clear to McIntyre that, if she is convicted, the court could order the sentences be served concurrently (at the same time) or consecutively -- meaning one after the other.

Good friends and three groups associated with American Legion Post 196 in Bloomfield are staging an all-day community benefit event Saturday for a 15-year-old bicyclist who was seriously injured when he struck by a pickup in late June. Two Eastern Greene Countians seriously injured in Sunday wreck in Jennings County (Local News ~ 08/24/09)
NORTH VERNON -- Two eastern Greene County boys sustained serious injuries in a crash Sunday night in Jennings County -- not far from the Jackson County line. The brothers -- Jared Hash, 15, and 20-year-old Scotty Hash, both of rural Solsberry, were flown by helicopter to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis after the 7:05 p.m. wreck, according to a published report in the The Tribune from Seymour.
