Linton City Council inks 2010 salary ordinance

Salary ordinances were on the table during Linton City Council's Monday meeting. In a 5-0 vote, the council approved salaries for elected officials -- with no changes from the current ordinance. According to 2009-12 ordinance, the mayor will receive $219.23 per pay (bi-weekly). The clerk-treasurer will receive $207.69 per pay (bi-weekly). The city council members will receive $35.42 per month. This portion is paid through taxes...
