UPDATED: Shakamak Park among several state facilities that will allow upcoming deer hunts

Shakamak State Park near Jasonville will be among several state parks that will temporarily close to permit upcoming firearm deer hunts. The first hunt will be conducted Nov. 16-17 and the second will be on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1. The Department of Natural Resource announced the parks will close to the general public the night before each hunt and reopen the morning after each ends...
