Huffman, accused of writing numerous checks, totaling at least $2,500, to several area businesses using her own checking account after it had been closed. Two separate cases have been filed against Huffman, one as a result of an investigation by Marshal Kenneth R. Tharp of the Bloomfield Police Department, the other as a result of an investigation by Deputy Marshal Donald R. Richardson of the Worthington Police Department...

Greene County residents are recycling in increasing numbers, based on an encouraging yearly tonnage report of recyclable materials that was presented Tuesday morning to the Greene County Solid Waste Management Board.
