Three Greene County connected 'cold cases' featured on prison playing cards

Three long-standing Greene County connected "cold criminal cases" and another with locals ties are getting some new attention in the form of a recreation game regularly played by inmates at Indiana State Department of Correction facilities. Indiana State Police and prison officials are releasing a second edition of playing cards featuring profiles of unsolved homicides and missing people. The card decks feature 52 unsolved Indiana cases and are the only cards inmates can buy at state prisons.

UPDATED: Adams named 4-H Grand Champion Livestock Showman

Handling or showing animals of six different species takes a special skill and patience and 4-H member Allie Adams proved Thursday night she was the "best of the best" among livestock exhibitors at this year's county fair. Adams, an eight-grade student at Eastern Greene Middle School, took home the Grand Champion Livestock Showman trophy in competition at the Greene County Fair. The award is the premier individual 4-H award for a livestock showman of the annual fair.
