Another line of dark and foreboding clouds, pictured above White River, taken from the Pryor Bridge on State Road 157, moved across Greene County late Monday bringing still more rain to the area. Wednesday, July 21 * The Indiana Department of Transportation will conduct a groundbreaking ceremony for Section 3 of Interstate 69 at 11 a.m. at Daviess County Municipal Airport, located on County Road 250 East near Washington. Section 3 runs from U.S. 50 (near Washington) via the State Road 57 corridor and cross country to U.S. 231 the near Crane Naval Surface Warfare Center in Greene County. Thursday, July 22 * The White River Valley Board of School Trustees will meet in regular session at 7:30 p.m. in the administrative center located in the junior-senior high school. An executive session will precede the meeting at 6:30 p.m. to discuss personnel.
