Afternoon accident sends one to hospital, closes SR 58 for two hours

One driver was airlifted to Indianapolis and State Road 58 was closed for approximately two hours on Thursday afternoon following an accident involving two vehicles near Crane base. Tina Shake, 51, Bloomfield, was extricated from her vehicle by rescue workers then transported by AirEvac medical helicopter to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
