Veteran McDonald facing off against Baker in auditor's race

Sue McDonald (Democrat) and Matt Baker (Republican) have plans for streamlining the auditor's office. The two will face each other in Tuesday's election. McDonald says her office -- she is a deputy in the auditor's office -- is currently bringing the plat mapping up to date and also in the process of bringing all properties up to date and that they will be kept up to date. On the last day of his hearing on a petition for post-conviction relief which requests that his guilty plea be vacated, Marty Walters said he'd waited 18 years for this day. "I thought if I could just get back to court, everything would come out, but nobody's falling on their sword for me," said Walters after some of the testimony was not completely favorable for his case......
