Hospital required to reach benchmarks for incentive money

Greene County General Hospital Executive Director Jonas Uland said the Linton-based medical facility is ahead of the game when it comes to electronic health information exchange or sharing. Uland recently reported to the GCGH's Board of Trustees that the goal is to attain what he called "meaningful use" -- which means the hospital is required to meet some benchmarks in order to receive some incentive money for advancing more into electronic medical records...
