UPDATED: Flood warning issued after heavy rainfall; track the approaching storm on radar

A flood warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in Indianapolis for the White and Eel rivers in Greene and surrounding counties. Estimates of over 2-4 inches of rain has fallen or will fall in the immediate area by Wednesday morning, according to a bulletin from the NWS. Early this morning about 3:30 a.m., the area was under a tornado warning, but that warning was lifted with no touchdowns. The heavy rains is expected to cause the rivers to rise quickly over the next few days.
