UPDATED Breaking News: Serious wreck on State Road 54, east of Bloomfield; three transported to Indianapolis hospitals

Three people were transported to hospitals in Indianapolis following a single vehicle crash on State Road 54 -- about one mile west of Eastern Greene School -- on Saturday morning. The Greene County Sheriff's Department reports a vehicle driven by 28-year-old Amy Saileau, of Bloomington, was westbound on State Road 54 when she left the the roadwa near County Road 950E and struck a culvert and utility pole about 10:28 a.m. Saileau was pinned in the vehicle and extricated by personnel from the Center Township Fire and Rescue unit, according to a report filed by GCSD deputy Anthony Price.

The Annual Greene County Master Gardener's Flower and Patio Show at the fairgrounds is in full swing. The event runs until 4 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Sunday.
