Today * Free confidential HIV testing will be offered at the Greene County Health Department from 1-3 p.m. There will also be testing for Hepatitis C and Syphilis. Scheduled appointments preferred, but walk-in are welcome. Counseling available for all testing. For more infomation call 384-4469. The health department is located in the courthouse annex at 217 East Spring Street in Bloomfield. Thursday, Dec. 8 * The Jasonville Senior Citizen Center wishes to invite senior citizens in the Jasonville area to attend the annual Christmas party/birthday dinner. The dinner will be served at noon and each person attending is asked to bring a vegetable, salad, or dessert. The center will provide the meat, beverage, and table service. Special musical entertainment will begin at 11 a.m. During the afternoon bingo games will be played. * Greene County Memory Makers Quilt Guild will meet for a annual holiday dinner at 6 p.m. at the Bloomfield Public Library. The meal will be catered by The Dancing Bear. Call Nancy Hudson at 384-6551 if you have any questions. * The regular monthly meeting of the Greene County Sheriff's Merit Board will meet today at 6 p.m. in the conference room at the Greene County Jail.
