Vicky Lynn (Fry) Bledsoe, 51, of Vicksburg, Ind. passed away at 8:40 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012 in her residence. She was born December 26, 1960, in Sullivan County, Ind. to Robert Fry and Virginia (Jones) Fry. Survivors include her husband, Tim Bledsoe of Vicksburg, Ind. whom she married on November 22, 2008; sons & daughter-in-laws, Jeremy and Andrea Edmondson of Jasonville, Ind., Andy Edmondson of Linton, Ind., Josh Edmondson of Worthington, Ind.; and Ridge Johnson of Vicksburg, Ind....

Pool bathhouse roof may need replaced soon

A new roof, rather than repairs, may be the next step for the A.M. Risher Pool, as quotes City Councilman Jathan Wright obtained suggest replacement's better than repair. It was a strange sort of day that started with the Bloomfield Cardinals owning an 8-4 record getting ready to take on the Owen Valley Patriots, said BHS boys tennis coach Mike Canty. During the day it was found out that Bloomfield had played an ineligible player in 10 of the 12 matches they had played this season forcing them to forfeit all wins occurring in those 10 matches.
