(UPDATED) BREAKING NEWS: Woman located

The Greene County Sheriff's Department reports that it's investigating the disappearance of a 23-year-old Terre Haute woman who was last believed to have been seen in the Linton area. Cecilia Hoffmann is reported to have contacted a friend during the evening hours ---- after 9 p.m. ---- on Tuesday. However, she never arrived at her destination, according to a news release from GCSD Det. George Dallaire. The woman is described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall and 130 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Assisting in the investigation is the Linton Police Department and the Indiana State Police. Anyone with information concerning Hoffmann's whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Greene County Sheriff's Department at (812) 384-4411.

The Sullivan American Legion Post 139 baseball team fell to 3-2 on the year after a 10-7 loss to visiting Clinton Post 140 at Sportland Field Tuesday night.
