The Greene County Sign Modernization Project that was set to be completed Oct. 17, was granted a 30-day extension by the county commissioners on Tuesday morning. The Greene County Commissioners have proposed to serve as mediators in trying to get two animal advocate groups to work closer together rather than in an adversarial vain. At a meeting Tuesday morning, Commissioners President Rick Graves said he had talked with several people in the last month about the animal situation and the work of the Greene County Humane Society.
