The Greene County Sheriff's Department confirmed there is a car accident on State Road 58 near Greentuck Drive in the eastern part of the county. The dispatcher said as of 9:15 a.m. he was unsure if there were injuries. This story will be updated.

Dec. 18 -- Travis W. Hubble, 43, Jasonville, was arrested on a warrant issued out of another county. No bond was set -- he was on hold for Warrick County. Jasonville Police Officer Bryan Pilant was the arresting officer. Dec. 19 -- Julia Anne Wheeler, 20, Martinsville, was arrested on a warrant issued out of another county issued for an alleged probation violation. She was being held without bond. George Orwin Laskey, 86, of Fort Thomas, KY, died peacefully Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013, at the Ft. Thomas Kentucky Veterans Rehabilitation Center. A Bloomfield woman had to be transported to an Indianapolis hospital by an air ambulance following a Tuesday morning two-vehicle crash on State Road 58 in southeastern Greene County near Owensburg.
