One fatality has been confirmed in a three-vehicle crash that happened shortly before 7 a.m. Wednesday on State Road 54, just east of County Road 800W -- between Switz City and Linton. Deputy Coroner Carol Williams told the Greene County Daily World that a male was pronounced dead at the scene. Two others were transported to the hospital. One male was airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital and a female was taken to an area hospital.

A tragic crash involving three vehicles on State Road 54, just east of County Road 800 West, between Switz City and Linton early Wednesday morning claimed the life of Phillip K. Reynolds. The Greene County Coroner's Office confirmed that the 51-year-old Reynolds was pronounced dead on the scene of the accident that occurred shortly before 7 a.m...

Marcella Frances Stockrahm, 92, passed away in the morning of Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at her residence in Linton. She joins her daughter Lucy in heaven. Marcella was born on Oct. 2, 1921 in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota, the daughter of John and Lucy (Jazdzewski) Kardash.
