A Mitchell man died in a single-vehicle wreck Friday morning near the Lawrence-Greene county line. Joseph H. Smith, 26, was pronounced dead at the scene of the 8 a.m. crash on State Road 58, east of Armstrong Station Road in Lawrence County.
