A state-wide tornado drill will be conducted this morning at 10:30 a.m. Linton Police Chief Troy Jerrell said the tornado sirens will be activated. He advised residents to be aware of the drill.

Man arrested in Louisville in connection with case of missing girl from Greene County

According to a report by WBIW News, Louisville Metro Police say they arrested a 29-year-old man on Wednesday night after he was found with a 13-year-old girl who had been reported missing in Greene County. Police say they received a tip that Howard Estes had taken the girl to the Louisville area -- specifically a residence on Deveron Dr., near the intersection of Farnsley Rd. and Fern Lea Rd.....

Contracted cook at prison arrested on drug charge

CARLISLE ---- A Vigo County woman has been jailed for drug possession at the Wabash Valley Correctional Facility(WVCF). ARAMARK Cook Jill Phillips, 30, was arrested by WVCF Correctional Police Officers Kevin Allen and Randy Rasner after a search of her vehicle.
