Kids were out bright and early Saturday morning to engage in serious competition during the 2014 Bloomfield Apple Festival Pedal Tractor Pull Contest in the Bloomfield Park. JASONVILLE - The Shakamak boys and girls cross country teams swept team honors in the SWIAC conference cross country meet here Saturday. The team titles were especially satisfying for Lakers boys coach Zack Whitkanack and girls coach Mark Messmer. Juat five weeks ago in the Greene County Invitational the Laker boys finished fourth as a team, with the Lady Lakers running second behind Bloomfield.....
