The Linton Police Department responded to 18 calls and incidents on Monday, October 13, including one property damage accident, two assists to other agencies, one domestic dispute, one extra patrol, one report of harassment, two special details, one report of suspicious activity, one theft, three traffic stops, three trespassing incidents and two welfare checks...

* October 14 -- Logan Dean Lynch, 25, Linton, was arrested on warrants issued out of another county, both for alleged failure to appear. He was being held without bond. Linton Police Officer Paul Clark was the arresting officer.

Indianapolis -- The Indiana State Police has been notified, on behalf of Attorney General Eric Holder, that the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Community Policing Services, has awarded ISP funding under the 2014 Anti-Methamphetamine Program Grant (CAMP). ISP has been awarded $567,000 in federal funds over the next two year grant period...

Turkey Run -- The annual Indiana woodland owner conference will meet at Turkey Run State Park on November 7-8. Hosted by the Indiana Forestry & Woodland Owners Association, over 150 people are expected.
