Commissioners give final approval to new ambulance

BLOOMFIELD -- The Greene County Commissioners gave the final approval for the purchase of a new ambulance for the Greene County Ambulance Service during the regular meeting of the commissioners on Tuesday morning. The new unit, a 2014 Chevy 350 Type III (box-type) ambulance by McCoy Miller, will include an ECS Kenwood 700 digital mobile radio and cost the county just over $108,000. Funding for the purchase will come from the EMS Equipment Fund which currently has a balance of just over $137,000...
