Marilyn Elaine Young (Obituary ~ 12/09/15)
Marilyn Elaine Young, 82, of Linton, passed away at her residence, Friday, Dec. 4, 2015. She was born Dec. 30, 1932 in Jasonville to Dewey and Mabel (Greenwood) Loveless. She was a 1950 graduate of Shakamak High School and a 1976 graduate of Vincennes University. Member of the Linton First Baptist Church since 1956 where she played the piano for seven years. She worked for 13 years at the Linton Nursing Center. She loved cats, her son and her grandkids... -
VIDEO: Pence cuts ribbon on Section 4 of I-69 (Local News ~ 12/09/15)
Governor Mike Pence cut a ribbon in the northbound lane of Section 4 of Interstate 69 with an Indiana Department of Transportation truck. The governor jokingly said it would be the only time he is allowed to get behind the week of an INDOT vehicle.
