Dr. Gerald B. (Jerry) Rupert, of Rolla, passed away Sunday, Feb. 7, at the age of 85. He was born in Akron, OH on Aug. 23, 1930 to the late Gerald and Mildred (Risher) Rupert. He was a graduate of Linton-Stockton High School in 1948. In April of 1954, he married Betty Lou Allen, who preceded him in death on Dec. 2, 2012. Jimmy S. Noel, age 90, of Worthington, passed away at 3:21 p.m. on Monday, April 11, 2016, at the Owen Valley Health Campus in Spencer. He was born in Clay County on July 12, 1925, the son of Merritt & Jessie (Campbell) Noel. Jimmy joined the U.S. Navy at age 17.
