"Champions Together" raises funds and fun for Special Olympics (Local News ~ 04/28/16)
White River Valley's "Champions Together" is holding a fundraiser May 14, to raise funds to meet its programs obligations, and to benefit Special Olympics. The fundraising dinner and silent auction will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the WRV high school cafeteria. Tickets are $5 each and may be purchased at the door. Born March 18, 1947 in Linton, he was the son of Johnnie Harold and Mary Frances (Buher) Parsley. He was an asphalt laborer for Local Union #741. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #1081 in Bloomington, Sons of the American Legion Post #196 Bloomfield and was a basketball official for 49 years...
