Linton hopes to dedicate $850,000 to paving

The Linton City Council hopes to be able to dedicate about $850,000 to local road upgrades. Mayor John Wilkes said the city received about $152,000 from the state to dedicate to road work. In addition to those funds, Wilkes asked the council to dedicate $100,000 from the Rainy Day Fund, $100,000 from the Local Road and Street Fund and $75,000 worth of EDIT money to put toward paving projects...
