Pollyanna S. Miller, 84, of Linton passed away on Tuesday, July 5 at Glenburn Nursing Home in Linton. She was born on October 23, 1931 in Linton, the daughter of Walter H. 'Doc' and Ida Ingleman Scholl. Polly was a member of the Linton First United Methodist Church and was a Founding Board Member of the Greene County Foundation. Merle Allen Sewell, 77, of Bloomfield, passed away at 2:15 a.m. on Tuesday, July 5 at his daughter's residence in Bloomfield. Born Sept.6, 1938 in Kansas City, Kan., he was the son of Louis George and Celia (Miller) Sewell. He was retired as the Postmaster at the Bloomfield Post Office.
