Paul Walker, 61, of Worthington, formerly Terre Haute, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2016. Paul grew up in Terre Haute before joining the Marines. During the eight years he proudly served his country, he obtained the Sergeant rank and was a member of the I&I Duty staff. Linton to replace trash truck, plan will save money

The City of Linton will be saving almost $9,000 by loaning money among its own funds for a trash truck. Mayor John Wilkes said the 2008-model trash truck is having issues, but replacing the trash truck is not in the budget and there are not enough funds set aside to fund the truck out right.
