Tuesday, August 16 The Olive Branch Baptist Church, located at 13441 West State Road 54 in Linton, will begin its Tuesday night Master Club. Master Club is free for kids ages K4-6th Grade,and will meet every Tuesday at the church through May 2, 2017. Rain has delayed construction at the intersection of State Road 54 and State Road 57 in Switz City. According to Indiana Department of Transportation District Communications Director Jason Tiller, the road should be opened back up by late August. "We've had a lot of rain," Tiller said. Bonnie L. (Combs) White, age 82, of Linton, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, at her residence. She was born in Linton on September 20, 1933, the daughter of Charles Edward and Iona (Eaton) Combs. Bonnie was a CNA at Linton Hospital and she was a homemaker. She greatly enjoyed sewing and cooking. She was a member of the Linton Assembly of God Church. She married Alonzo "Lon" White on April 30, 1949...
