Friday night’s loss to host Linton proved a painful lesson to the Eastern Thunderbirds. Eastern coach Joey Paridean said the 6-2 Thunderbirds hurt themselves with mistakes, including three interceptions, and penalties in their 49-0 loss to Linton, the second-ranked team in Class 1A football.
