Raymond L. Hudson, age 64, of Linton, passed away surrounded by his family, on Friday evening, Oct. 7, 2016, at his Residence. He was born in Fairfield, Ill. on Nov. 4, 1951, the son of Adon S. and Juanita J. (Bryan) Hudson. Raymond was a graduate of Linton-Stockton High School. Monday, October 10 The Linton Recycling Center will be closed today due to the holiday. The Eastern branch of the Eastern Greene-Bloomfield Library will host Tots Time (ages 18 months to three years) at 10:15 a.m. The theme is purple, please try to wear the color purple. The Wood Club will meet at 7 p.m. at the Shakamak Elementary School Library. The Northeast School Corporation Board of Trustees will meet in the Administrative Building, 406 North Vine Street, Hymera, in executive session at 6 p.m. followed by regular session at 7 p.m. Eastern Heights Utilities, Inc. will be flushing hydrants through Friday, Oct. 21. Discoloration in water is possible during this time period.
