BOYS BASKETBALL Shakamak improved its record to 5-0 Saturday night by being most unkind to host Washington Catholic. The Lakers took a 19-point lead at the half and never looked back against the 1-4 Cardinals, defeating them 68-34. Greene County travel status listed as ‘advisory’

County to move forward with jail expansion

The Greene County Council and County Commissioners met in joint session Monday afternoon to discuss the future of the Greene County Jail. Sheriff Mike Hasler said due to a change in the sentencing guidelines, the Greene County Jail is facing some serious overcrowding issues.
