The Dugger Town Council held a public hearing on Monday evening to discuss the progress of the Stormwater Imporvement Project (SIP) administered by the Office of Community Affairs (ORCRA) with assistance through Donna-Kenna Consulting. The income survey conducted over the past several months intended to see if the project area qualified for grant funds, as in order to qualify, at least 51 percent of residents in the affected stormwater area must be low to moderately (LMI) income-based on (Housing and Urban Development) HUD income figures, as stated in a letter available for patrons who attended the meeting.. ...
