The Linton-Stockton Miners junior varsity football team won its season opener with a 31-6 win over Sullivan. Highlighting the win for the Miners were several outstanding individual performances. Austin Bohnert scored two touchdowns. Quarterback Trey Goodman threw for one score and ran for another. Gavin House and Devyn Robertson each had a interception and Robertson caught a TD pass.
