Local youth ramping up summer giving

A group of local youth has kicked off their summer with volunteer work. Linton First Christian Church’s Highway 111 group spent Monday at the residence of Jim and Jenine Stearns in Linton, building a ramp free of charge for the couple. Jim Stearns said his wife has a hard time getting out of the house due to some health issues, and this ramp will help both of them when they need to leave the house, rather than try to use the steep concrete steps that were at the front door...
