Vilas D. “Dusty” Rhodes, age 97, of Linton, passed away peacefully at 1:10 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2018, at Glenburn Home. He was born in Midland on Aug. 25, 1921. Dusty was a graduate of Midland High School. He was a WWII veteran of the Army Air Corp. He began working at Davidson Electric and Machine Works as Machinist when he came back from the war then he bought the company after years of working there. Michael Wayne Roach, 53, of Bloomfield passed away Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes. Born Jan. 30, 1965 the son of Ralph W. and Joetta (Reed) Roach. Michael had worked at the Wabash Correctional Facility where he was a Sargent, he was a drywall finisher, he was a great cook working for the Light House restaurant, he currently worked at Purdue Farms Washington, he was a member of the Faith Christian Church in Bloomfield and was a 1983 graduate of Switz City High School. ... -
