A Jasonville woman allegedly stole thousands of items from a Linton couple because they owed her $64. Christina Lynn Gallagher, 46, is facing preliminary charges of Level 4 felony burglary and Level 6 felony burglary. According to a probable cause affidavit filed in Greene Superior Court by Greene County Sheriff’s Detective Shawn Cullison, the charges stem from a complaint made by a rural Linton couple who said they came home on March 24 to find several thousands of dollars worth of items missing from their home. ...

County moving forward with review of employee wages

The Greene County Council approved a plan to move forward with the creation of a Wage and Salary Committee. Greene County Commissioner Nathan Abrams went before the council on Monday to suggest putting together an advisory committee to discuss and compare the salaries of county employees and elected officials.
