Vehicle drives into Linton business

A Friday accident on State Road 54, near County Road 800 West, resulted in a vehicle driving into the showroom of Flooring America. According to a news release from Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy James Carpenter, 79-year-old Maria M. Mowry, of Bloomfield, was traveling westbound on State Road 54 in a 2004 White Ford Ranger when the vehicle reportedly left the roadway. The driver reported she tried to get back on the road but was unable to correct the vehicle’s direction of travel...
