Eastern Scrabble Club ends an era with Fuller’s final farewell in Philly

LPD investigating Sunday shooting

The Linton Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place Sunday evening in the area of 11th Street NE and State Road 54. The victim was shot in the chest area, and was released after treatment, according to LPD Chief Troy Jerrell.

BLOOMINGTON – No one ever likes to lose. But some losses are easier to take than others. Such was the case for the Linton Miners baseball team Monday. In a battle of ranked teams the Edgewood Mustangs put up three runs in the fifth inning and three more in the sixth frame to hand Linton an 8-5 setback.
