Lowell Renzo Dowden, 95, of Switz City, died Saturday, June 8, 2019. He was born on May 26, 1924 to William H. and Edna Dowden. He was a graduate of Switz City High School. Lowell was a farmer for most of his life, after leaving the farm he worked at Crane Naval Base. He retired from Crane and spent his later years as a contractor, and built several homes and business buildings in Greene and the surrounding counties...

Jasonville approves first reading of ordinances to keep motorcyclists, others safe

In a flag retirement ceremony, hosted by the Greene County Veterans’ Council, held at Worthington American Legion Post 106 on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, hundreds of American flags were destroyed in a ceremony of honor, to be replaced with new flags.
