Franich raises money on one wheel

WORTHINGTON -- Just 62 more miles to go. Chris Franich of Worthington is riding a unicycle 100 miles this month in order to raise money for curing cancer. He said he learned of the Great Cycle Challenge USA from Facebook. Participants ride 100 miles in June to raise money to fight children’s cancer. Franich said he committed to raising $500 and has brought in $585 so far, people making their donations through the Facebook page...

Betty L. Kramer, age 91, of Linton passed away at 10:15 pm on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Glenburn Home in Linton. She was born on June 20, 1927 to Ernest Gilbert Clark and Ola May (Auten) Clark. She was a 1945 graduate of Linton High School. She received her bachelor and masters degree in elementary education at Indiana State University and retired after a wonderful 35 years of teaching. She enjoyed family visits, bingo, playing cards, reading and giving and receiving special occasion cards...
