County teams leave cloud of dust at Mustang Invitational

ELLETTSVILLE -- Greene County teams dominated the Mustang Invitational Tuesday at Edgewood. Host Edgewood won the boys meet with 78 points, but Bloomfield, Eastern Greene, White River Valley were the next three teams with 92, 116, and 119 points respectively. Shakamak placed eighth with 186 points. Carson Heath of Martinsville finished first, but the next three runners were Damon Kesler, Shakamak, 17 minutes, 45.40 seconds; Joe Records, WRV, 18:08.80; and Justin Beard, Bloomfield, 18:38.20. Kesler and Records have run neck-and-neck in several previous competitions, each winning once.
