The Eastern Greene Thunderbirds defeated conference foe the Clay City Eels 67-49 on Friday night. The scoring quartet of Bryan Rippy, Sam Rees, Bryson Creager and Braydon Myers accounted for 61 of Eastern Greene’s 67 points on the night. “That’s how we’re supposed to play,” Coach Jamie Hudson said of his team’s performance Friday night. “Those guys didn’t force much. Charles "Chuck" R. Steinsberger, age 82, of Linton, passed away on Friday, Jan. 17, 2020, at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on May 5, 1937, the son of the late Walter Steinsberger and Tellie (Greenwell) Steinsberger. He was a 1956 graduate of Clay City High School. ...
