Marsh Madness, not to be confused with March Madness, is celebrating its 10th season of operation. On Feb. 28-29, visitors from all across the region and the nation will flock to Goose Pond to witness the migration of the sandhill cranes. Yerger’s story is one of bravery, determination, courage and compassion, as she seeks to educate women in regards to the early detection of breast cancer. ...

Michael R. Abrams, 71, of Bloomfield, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2020 at his residence. Born Dec. 4, 1948 in Greene County, he was the son of James Roy and Lucy Charlotte (DeFrees) Abrams. Mike enjoyed farming and was an operator at the coal mine. He served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church, Bloomfield American Legion Post 196 and the Odd Fellows...

The Linton Lady Miners are just one win away from the first regional championship in school history after defeating Evansville Mater Dei 56-30 in the morning session of the Paoli Regional. Linton set the tone early, jumping out to a 10-0 lead after the stifling Miner defense forced six first quarter turnovers...
